Hip hop
Noah’s Hip-Hop class is an upbeat movement session that focuses on dynamics and the development of each dancer’s specific style. The choreography in this class will teach students musicality and coordination, as well as allowing them a constructive environment to let loose and get comfortable in their own skin. This class will prepare students to audition for recording artists, award shows and music videos. The movement and music in these classes are always age appropriate and never suggestive.
contemporary jazz
Combining aspects of Jazz, Contemporary, Martial Arts and Storytelling, Noah's class is a high-energy dance experience. After a Yoga/Calisthenics based warm up, dancers will learn a phrase that is promised to push them both artistically as well as athletically. Within the phrase will be varying progressions inclusive of all dancers/skill level/body types. Dancers will leave class with a new perspective of how hard they can push themselves, feeling empowered and ready to prevail in any facet of their lives
Jazz techinque
In this class students will improve their strength, flexibility, coordination and style. Class will be begin with a classic jazz warmup targeting specific areas of the body. Starting from the neck/shoulders then advancing down to the major muscles of the legs. Following the warmup, students will train in progressions across the floor including turns, leaps, kicks and walks. Noah’s unique tips and training styles for turns and leaps have helped numerous dancers improve their technique, score higher at competitions, and perform better at auditions. Noah began his career training in Jazz has had many amazing influences over the span of his dance career.
musical theater
This performance based class focuses on Dance Technique, Acting, Story Telling and even a bit of Singing! Class starts with a jazz-based warmup followed by choreography that encourages students to make big acting choices! Dancers will be given storylines based on the song/show they are performing. Students will be assigned partners or groups to practice acting with other performers. This is the perfect class for the aspiring triple-threat! This class is a ton of fun for anyone participating and will better prepare students for musical theatre dance auditions.
ACRO
In this class students will improve their flexibility, strength, coordination, balance and discipline. Dancers will learn acrobatic tricks such as handstand, headstand, cartwheel, round-off, walkovers, hand walks, back handspring, ariel, back-tuck, back layout, just to name a few. Noah has tumbled in almost every show he has ever performed in and has a vast knowledge of proper technique and correct spotting. Noah is able to demonstrate the acrobatic tricks to his students while he is teaching them. The ability to actually demonstrate while teaching has helped many students and teachers throughout his teaching career.
mock audition
This is a class focused on preparing dancers for professional auditions. Dancers will quickly be a taught a combination and then separated into groups to be scored. Noah will oversee all aspects of the audition and educate students on correct etiquette, tips for making the individual stand out, and various circumstances to be prepared for. Going into your first audition can be a nervous venture for a novice performer so this class will give young performers the confidence to go into any audition and prevail.
goal setting
In this seminar, Noah will teach students proven techniques for achieving everything they are striving for. Noah’s “TEN RULES FOR CRUSHING YOUR GOALS” is a system of identifying and executing goals no matter how big or small. Students will be given worksheets that roadmap exactly how to “crush their goals” that Noah will explain and review. This class is great for any individual and it has brought great value to the students, teachers and parents that have participated.
conditioning
Noah’s conditioning class is a strength and stamina training experience that is guaranteed to push students to work harder and encourage them test limits. When a dancer is performing at high athletic levels the sky is the limit on choreography they can execute. Noah has taught at numerous group fitness and conditioning gyms. His high energy teaching style has motivated many to strive for excellence.
